Leah Sansone, M.Ed., advocates nationwide for families of students with disabilities and special education needs. Leah has over a decade of real-world, practical, experience in the special education and 504 arenas.
After graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Leah earned her teaching certificate, her Master’s in Education, and her Special Education Certification, from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. She received her administrator’s license through the Director of Special Education and Pupil Services program at the University of Wisconsin, Au Claire.
Leah Sansone is a consultant for families of students with disabilities and special education needs. With over a decade of special education experience, Leah's background spans achievements in teaching, program development, mediation, and administrative oversight in the special education and 504 arenas.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Leah obtained her teaching certificate from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and taught in the small Athabaskan village of Huslia, and the remote C’upik town of Chevak. following her time in these Alaskan villages, Leah directed several local educational organizations, working with students and staff through hands-on educational experiences.
Leah earned her Master’s in Education and Special Education Certification from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and then her administrator's license through the Director of Special Education and Pupil Services program at the University of Wisconsin, Au Claire.
Leah also taught with the University of Alaska, Fairbanks as an Adjunct Professor within the Education Department and with the University's Upward Bound, college preparatory program.
